  Intensive English Camp
The 2006 Intensive English Camp for the International Course 4G Class was held in Fukushima this year from Jan. 21-26. On the way to camp, the students visited Tsuruga Castle, a samurai residence, and Byakkotai Hill. The camp was very successful with all of the students participating enthusiastically. In fact, they were so enthusiastic that they set a new record for the number of tickets issued (given for speaking Japanese between the hours of 8:30am and 9:15pm) and the amount of money collected: 374 tickets, 4,580 yen. The money will be donated to the Maekok Foundation, an orphanage in Thailand. Thanks to all the people who made the experience possible, and a very special thanks to our camp helpers, Masaharu Shigematsu, Mai Fuji, Sanea Iwase, and Kaori Oyama.
